DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUTOMATED DEVICE FOR DETERMINING THE MOISTURE COTTON-RAW

Abstract

This article discusses the development of a new automated device for determining the moisture content of raw cotton. The most promising is the further improvement of the thermogravimetric method of measuring humidity by automating the process of weighing the sample mass before and after drying, processing data on calculating humidity, mechanizing and automating the process of feeding the sample to drying, compressing the sample, delivering it to the scales, with the maximum exclusion of the operator's influence on the final results, converting humidity data into digital form and transmitting it to a computer for calculating the conditioned mass of the received raw cotton in digital form with connection to a computer network.
